Alternative to spray/injectables?

Hi all, I'm posting on behalf of my SIL so apologies if I have some of the terms wrong/seem a bit clueless. She was due to have her booster today for her third and final round of IUI, but on scanning this morning they discovered that her follicles have been overstimmulated and due to the risk of triplets she has been refused booster and insemination.

She has been told to continue with her nasal spray until Friday when she has another appointment, and she can then make the decision to continue with spray and injectables OR take an oral stimulant instead. She asked if this was likely to happen again but they couldn't answer. She asked if there was a higher risk of overstim on the tablets, again, they couldn't answer.

She is in bits right now and doesn't know how she is expected to make the decision when she knows so little about the tablet (and why she has been offered this)

I hope somebody is able to shed some light for me. She thinks the tablet name begins with an L but I guess these meds are quite similar?
