in the Best Friends Guide to motherhood she talks about seeing the world through the "mummy prism" once you have a baby & it's so true, this sort of thing, prebaby, used to make me sad but now i feel physically ill at the thought of someone doing this to a precious little baby .

At last little baby Lara is able to rest in peace. The police seem to have taken her to their hearts and have given her a dignified and heartfelt goodbye. I hope she is playing happily, having fun, wherever she may now be,
