I was thinking about this last night...watching the news and once again felt totally bewildered and confused by the politics behind these actions and the response from other African countries...is it possible for someone living in the UK to understand the context of what is going because I can't...

It is horrific what these poor people are going through. And that poor family who lost their children, crushed to death.

The fact that no other African nation will condemn him for doing this says more about them than anything else. It makes a complete farce of this whole Make Poverty History/G8/Live8 etc. etc. What use is all the aid in the world when dictators and the leaders of these countries are making damn sure the people suffer?

By destroying their houses and making sure they have no jobs they are primarily the ones keeping the majority poor.

Why are we sending back Zimbabwean opposition workers who are claiming assylum???
The whole world can see what Mugabe thinks of anyone who dares oppose him!
Instead of pandering to Daily Mail readers and their irrational fear of 'foreigners stealing their jobs and their women', we should be agreeing that these people's lives would be in danger if we sent them back to the mercy of that bastard!
