I think hes trying to die. It's so sad.

That's DP's patch. He's on days off at the mo so dosen't know anything about it, but I think the cause is fairly obvious really isn't it?

The man's an idiot. He spent his entire successful period being obnoxious and treating everyone like crap and now he wants sympathy when he's not doing well?

Brain harvery used a lot of drugs in his younger days, and some like E are belived to cause depression and paranoia. The man needs help, he isnt looking for sympathy. i hope he finds happiness soon. sounds like he has a lot of mental health problems.

It's not because he's thick, it's because he's spent his whole life looking down on others because he's so "special". What goes around, comes around.

i really feel for him, he went into the music business at a young age, it had obviously f**ked his head up big time. He is a lost and lonely soul, and i hope he recovers and finds some peace.

I think you tend to find that people with the attitude Brian Harvey put over, have v low self esteem and insecurity problems. It's a front. I feel for him.

I know quite a few people who've known him his whole life. He was always an arrogant muppet. No-one forced him to do drugs, no-one forced him to pretend to be some kind of gangster. If you play with fireworks, you have to expect to get burned.

That's a bit harsh hd. You may know people who ahve known him a long time, but they won't know why he is the person he is, why he turned into the person he is. He seems lost and angry.

Plenty of people have tough childhoods but decide to pull themselves out of it. He could have taken his chance and made himself a better life. I wouldn't like to hear that he'd taken his own life but I'm afraid I don't have much sympathy for him.

Not everyone is that strong tho, some find it easier to be led.

They do, lou. Most of them don't spend all their time trying to slag other people off in the media, though. If he wasn't such a huge ego, I'd pity him.

some people can't cope once their 5 minutes of fame are over. They are used to the attention and still crave it and will do anything to get it It is a sad story though

My mum and her family are from the same "mean streets" as Brian. Most of the info about him living in a rough neighbourhood and having to hustle, when he was a kid, is rubbish.

Sorry, I'll shut up now.

I don't know anything about his upbringing, i just see a really troubled young man who is desperately in need of help

Everyone deserves to be given a break once in a while. Our society is very good at building people up. It is also excellent and knocking them flat too.

If he's been humbled by his experiences and learned from then, then fair enough. I hope he sorts himself out.
If he does what so many celebrities do and take people's help and throw it back in their faces, then I have no sympathy.

have to say that I stand with HD here. I think that we all need to take responsibility for ourselves at some point. Often it's not until people hit rock bottom that they take help, but if they continually throw it back then what can you do. Also E17 isn't that bad (I mean the postcode)

DP says he thinks there are only six boroughs where you have to wear your stab proof vest. Walthamstow is one of them. Getting worried about him now.

ah how things have changed. DH's mother used to live there, maybe that's why it went to pot? lol (no pun intended)

I didn't think it was that bad either ML. There was a drive by shooting at police last year though, which is why this policy was needed.
