Toddler dies after duck pond fall

The toddler in this news article here was a very close friend of mine's nephew . The depth of the water was only 18 inches yet this awful tradgedy happened. I wanted to highlight this just to remind everyone how dangerous ponds can be.

We've just had a similar story here in NZ. I have toddler too and they just break my heart. My sympathies to your friend.

How awful and for me it is a case of there but for the grace of God go I.

Last week at a caravan park in Devon dd gave us the slip. She took 4p from the table and went to the shop to buy bubbles! She had previously been perstering us to go to the swimming pool next to the shop. I'm just glad she didn't go there as it was deserted at the time.
