Dad abandoned baby in car by mistake?

A father said he made an "error of judgment" when he left his six-week-old baby daughter alone in the back of his vehicle in a car park.

Why did Dad take the daughter out anyway, where was the mother ?

looking after babies isn't just a woman's job y'know............ although he's maybe a bit of a space cadet

The same story is in The Sun online and it claims he was looking after the child and left her in the car in a car park while he went for a drink. Got a taxi home after drinking, went to bed and forgot about the baby.
