RIP Anne Williams. Amazing lady. Watched the Hillsborough film on Monday and still cant believe that the truth was out there as far back ago as when it was made and she still wasn't awarded the chance to have full justice before she died. Let's hope the other families see the result they deserve before long. JFT96

RIP Anne. Such a shame she didn't live to see justice. Worked for it tirelessly till the end. Amazing woman. Jft96

I'm glad she lived long enough to see some justice done, to see the victims vindicated, to hear some apologies and be recognised for her heart, passion and sense of right.

I hope those who take the baton from her will be kept going by continued public support. There are a lot more apologies to be heard.

She was proved right before she died. It is a shame that justice has not been officially done but to hear what she knew was the truth acknowledged in parliament, after a fight spanning over two decades, must have gone some way to help her rest in peace.

Can you imagine knowing your child was alive and without medical care or comfort when he died? And that he called out for you? It's beyond heartbreaking.

This woman's courage, determination and sheer doggedness should be an inspiration to us all. She has done her son proud.

I believe that on Wednesday Liverpool City Council declined to fly their flags at half mast for Margaret Thatcher but they have lowered them all to honour Anne Williams. A well deserved tribute.
