Just seen Sally Roberts being interviewed on Daybreak with regards to her son's treatment for his brain tumour. I dont know what to think really about it all. If it were my child i would think that i would definitley follow the evidence based research which the doctors have been advising in having chemo and radiotherapy.

Any opinions?

I honestly think she's unhinged, there's something very odd about her whole demeanor.

I wonder if she's in denial over the seriousness of his condition.

She was in the paper yesterday banging on about the same thing and saying he has 'changed' and is a grey affected little boy.

His Dad had a small article in the papers today saying he was doing well and they were hopeful about his long term prognosis.

At first I did really feel for her as I thought it was genuinely a worry for the child's best interests, but as time went on she appeared to be more and more out of touch with reality about it and seemed to have her head more than a little turned by the media attention.

I mean really, he's had the treatment now, the little boy is recovering, surely it's not in his best interests to keep having his mother drag this up in the media when he's trying to get better.

Her attitude on daybreak was shocking too. When they were asking how he was she kept saying he is a changed boy and he isnt well at all Its as though she wants him to be like that to prove that she was right about the chemo/radiotherapy.

She doesnt even see him very often anymore. She even said that she needed to see him more!! Dont know what the custodial terms are but i would not leave my childs side during a time like this!!

She really really grated on me through the interview. I think she is a bit "not right" !

I personally think she needs professional mental help.

On a lighter note, I would probably not have a very good opinion to start with of somebody who names her children "Neon" and "Elektra"...
