Kate's Baby Bump on show in Bikini shot

Poor Kate, again she has had another intrusive pap shot, and with her in a Bikini with her baby bump on show.

Already I can see this child being papped every moment of he/she's life and I wish the paparazzi at least give her one moment alone

I do think that news organisations over here giving it such a high profile isn't helping though. Few people would know about these pics were it not for the DM outcry. I do feel very sorry for them though. It must be absolutely horrible to know there are photographers willing to do anything to get a shot. Just imagine if that were you, literally having nowhere to hide. People will pop up and say, oh she knew what she was getting into, blah blah blah. They're still entitled to some privacy. How is it in the public interest to see these pictures?

Well they are in the public eye, they were on a public beach.
Yeah I feel a bit sorry for them, but not that much.

I picked up a copy of the Evening Standard (main London daily newspaper) today- the front page headline was "we'll feel poorer for 3 more years" with how living standards are falling, high inflation & stagnating wages.
Next to it was a pic of the royal couple with comments about their anguish at the photos, while on holiday at their £19,000/week villa in Mustique.

Personally I just can't work up a whole load of sympathy for them...

Of course the baby is going to be photographed - it's the heir to the bloody throne!

I'm with amandine on this, can't summon up a whole lot of sympathy for a couple who live in such unbelievable luxury. So many other things to worry about tbh.

I'm not a fan of Kate & Wills, I watched their wedding that's about the extent of my interest in the royals.

However, all this bleating about privacy is just making think more and more about how disconnected they are from the average man or woman in the UK.

I think people will quickly get fed up of hearing about it- each time they are off on a luxury holiday somewhere, if there's going to be a "photos scandal" and subsequent outcry, it's all going to get awfully tedious...actually I think it's got to that point already.

I think they should just count their blessings that Kate's pregnancy seems to be progressing well, that they do not have to worry about the prospect of maybe losing their jobs or struggling to pay the mortgage or rent.

Personally I think they should just suck it up, all the media overload about it in the UK is just fuelling the whole thing.

Exactly.

Pampered, privileged and living a life of utter luxury that most of us can only dream about and, lets face it, they've never really earned have they?

Can't muster up much sympathy I'm afraid.

Totally agree amandine - it's all a lot of nonsense.

What really makes me laugh is the people making the biggest noise about the "invasion of privacy" are usually the same people who buy the bloody magazines that fuel the nonsense in the first place!

I felt sorry for her when she got photoed in the private grounds of that villa. But been on a public beach in a bikini and pregnant she must have known there would be photos. She could have put a swimsuit on if she was really that bothered.

Are you kidding OP? One moment alone? She's barely ever photographed? Since her pregnancy was announced in December there hasn't been a single photo of her till now. She was, of course, pictured at the Sports Personality thing and the unveiling of her portrait but that's in the line of work.

Btw, these new pics are not pap shots, they were taken by a member of the public on a public beach. She is wearing a bikini, not standing around naked (yes, boobs and bum out) in full view of a public road like last time.

Wills and Kate are given an unprecedented amount of privacy actually and are rarely papped.

Lol at the use of the word work Puff.

Vive la revolution!

Seriously I just think there are way bigger problems going on, if this is the extent of their troubles, well they just need to get over it.

Precisely Lemonmuffin- it's not like they've worked their asses off to earn a decent living and actually afford a luxury holiday themselves. Massively over privileged and not really showing much insight into how lucky they really are...

Btw, now we've all seen how well she's doing, I look forward to hearing she's back at "work" soon, visiting her charities, cutting ribbons, pressing flesh - you know, all the stuff she's meant to be doing.

Highly doubt it though.

Here here Numberlock the use of the word 'work' in relation to Kate is all a bit of a farce.

She is a highly over privileged young woman, I for one cannot put her & Wills up on a pedestal and bow down in deference.

In fact Kate just reminds me of one of those sloaney birds at university who were not ashamed to admit that they were primarily there to find a husband- in between 3 hours of lectures a week, the degree was all a bit irrelevant.
I digress...

What gets my goat, is when they announced the due date, some royal correspondent popped up on the news and said we wouldn't see much of her throughout the pregnancy as she was too ill! (I know HG makes you really poorly, not doubting she had it BTW) But if she is too ill to do a few meet and greets how the heck did she manage a trans Atlantic flight?Confused.

Genuine question, but I thought hyperemesis (sp) was supposed to last all the way through pg? Or am I wrong on that?

Yes, agree with the lol about work - not what I would call work, lucky cow!

Both of them were born with a sugar-coated silver spoon in their mouths.

I don't begrudge them that, it's how our society works these days, they just got lucky

Just do us all a favour and don't bloody whinge about the teeny tiny little drawbacks that come with it!

Report
Numberlock · 13/02/2013 21:12

I begrudge it seeing as it's our money that's paying for it. Freeloading anachronistic parasites. And give me strength when people chirp up with the line 'They bring tourists to the UK'.

Hyperemesis can last throughout pregnancy but not always.

Also she could be on meds for the sickness, something like cyclizine or ondansetron would help combat sickness a lot.

There's already a thread on this which has established pretty convincingly that no-one gives a shiny shite. And why should they. I'm sure we all have more pressing concerns.

If you're that bothered about 'poor Kate's' privacy, why are you sharing the pictures? Hmm
