Have a look at this story -
news story I think it is outrageous. Apart from the upset to children caused by seeing this - what about the danger of being so close to the shoot. If my children were at that school I would be so mad. What do you think?

That's hideous. I'd be hopping mad if my children saw that.
A Sandringham spokesman said "We have agreed to accede to the request of the headmistress to avoid shooting during school break times."
Shame he's not so willing to accede to the request of the majority of the population to avoid shooting at all times.

Spent a v happy hour at the w/e with my 2 kiddies, (3.2yo and 21mo) plucking and gutting a brace of pheasants. Delicious! ds1 was sad they were dead, and wasnt keen on the smell, but plucked away and still tucked in to his supper just the same! He was intrigued by the corn and maize in the crop... oooh look mummy, they had seeds for their lunch!!

Still, I'd worry about the safety aspect of stray bullets so close to a school and I know both of mine wouldnt be happy with the noise of the guns.
