Goos on him!

DH did well at the old nappy changing challenge during the "black poo" stage. Stomach churning stuff but he continues to change nappies even though the second attempt had eldest twin ds poo and pee on him!

Aaaaaah lovely! More male role models like this needed as good examples for my ds (OK, only 19 weeks but never too early to make life easier for his future girlfriends..)

But isn't this just the way it should be???

It is nice though, you don't hear enough of it.

I will just never forget how proud and happy he was after the birth of Jennifer, and I hope the Brown family are happy and enjoying life.

Sorry Tissy but yes, Blair's refusal to confirm re MMR jab for is own baby was appalling - vaccination is a public health issue, not a confidential matter of your own medical records. He could have done so much to reassure worried parents. In my area, SW London, vaccination rates have fallen to levels where children and pregnant women are at real risk from outbreaks of measles, mumps and rubella.

Why so cynical DLib - the article is about G Brown not Tony Blair?

I'm very, very pleased for the Browns after the tragic loss of their firstborn - but I am a bit sceptical re how fatherhood comes first and foremost for him (as he says).

Perhaps he will be resigning his cabinet role for a back bench position - as per Alan Milburn?

DL!!! For goodness sake. I personally don't think its any of my business whos had the MMR or not.

Bless... how sweet. Good on him. After such tragedy he now sees a way to move on.

Yeah, but he must only see his son at the weekends!
