Yes it is shocking - to avoid it, or at to reduce your exposure, use Ecover products. I was reading an article the other day which stated companies use older UNTESTED chemicals because it's cheaper...to hell with our future health & the impact on the environment etc etc.

Persil, Fairy, Palmolive etc are all culprits, in fact, they are all banned in my house.
