Hi all,
well I'm new to this board but not to HE. I am Mum to 2 boys, (8 and 12). We deregged 3 years ago and haven't looked back.
We live in Croydon and I'm looking to start a local HE group in the new year. Just putting the feelers out to see if there's anyone out there who'd be interested in getting together once a week/fortnight in or around Croydon.
We already know quite a few local HE families but the more the merrier I say!
Anyway, all the best to everyone,
Katie.

Hello and welcome to mumsnet, and the HE topic! I'm no-where near Croydon though, as you might guess from the name

hello
We are near Wimbledon, so not that far from Croydon. Am HE'dding and have 3 boys, 5, 2 and 8 months. We're finding our way still and do a few groups and I'm trying to work out the right balance of groups and hanging out at home. We're really enjoying meeting HE'ers though and would certainly be interested in another group and I don't think Croydon would be too far, depending a bit on which part of Croydon. Are you a member of SW London Surrey borders yahoo group? There are likely to be people on there who may be interested. Were you thinking a mixed age group? anything particular theme? Do keep us posted.

Hi lilyfire,
I'm not on the SW Yahoo group but will take a look, thanks for that.
We were thinking of a mixed age group actually. Our kids have friends of all ages and we like that because it just feels more natural. There are quite a few of us around Croydon but we'd just like to set up something a bit regular so local families can get to know each other. Will keep you posted
