Lap Books

I was just wondering if anyone has uses lapbooks for an older child (11+) and if so, were they successful?

I think DD would love to make them, but after a LOT of research, I'm struggling. There seem to be so many techniques that my head is spinning Smile
Any advice gratefully accepted. TIA.

lapbooks
is a useful site.

We haven't done many lapbooks but have enjoyed the few we have done. However, I do really like Evan Moor history pockets here which are for grades 4-6 (years 5-7) and mine really enjoyed doing those. DS2 (12) is currently doing Ancient Greeks and DD (10) is doing Ancient Egypt as part of their history course.
