Has anyone used this to paint furniture? Is it hard wearing enough? I've also seen a similar paint by Rustoleum, is it any good.
Want to paint a table and chairs.
Thanks

I've used and if you wax after it is great. We used it on a coffee table. You may want to water it down slightly as to is very thick and chalky and you get some brush marks otherwise.

I've been using Annie Sloan a lot recently and it really is fantastic stuff. I've used it on bedside tables, a mirror and a dresser.

The Rustoleum is ok but definitely not as good. I used their white paint to lighten an AS shade and it worked fine for that but I would pay the extra for the Annie Sloan for the main colour.

I've used Annie Sloan (and wax) on dining room table and chairs. It's not as hard wearing as regular wood paint, and after a number of months the paint was rubbing off in well used areas. Might be better suited to items not so regularly used as dining room chairs? Have also done mirrors and it's been fab on those.
