Magnetic curtain tie backs?

Morning all!

Looking for a solution to a curtain problem. We have reasonably heavy curtains in the bedroom that need to be tied back but as the plasterwork is so shoddy in our house I really don't want to start drilling into it .

So...as a way round it I've been looking into those tiebacks that use magnets, meaning you don't need to drill into the wall. I bought one from eBay as an experiment but sadly it wasn't strong enough and kept pinging off (it seems most of the ones I've found are meant for light curtains or voiles).

Does anyone use these in their own home? Any website or product you could recommend? Or is there an alternative (non-drilling) solution I havn't thought about? Ta.

Use stick on hooks for the tie backs? Stick on with 'No Nails'
