We've just bought our first home!

Our daughters are going to be sharing ages 6 + 1.
I want something bright and definitely girly (my oldest is a princess fanatic) .

I don't really want to go down the whole princess bedroom look, but I do want her to feel as though I've paid attention to how much she wants a pink room iykwim.

Has anyone got any ideas. We don't have a big budget.

I quite like the idea of a 3d wall. for example flowers made with pom poms.
has anyone done this?

Thank you, sorry for typos. phone won't let me view message while typing.

Keep the walls and flooring neutral and add lots of accessories that are pink and princessey. That way it's easy to change but still girly, my dds share a room (7&4) they have white furniture( with crystal handles) and a grey carpet but a lovely big rug and pink curtains, lots of stickers( not disney) and pictures. Everyone says what a cute and girly room it is but it would take a day and v little £ to completely make it over.

Have a look on etsy and notonthehighstreet for wall stickers. I know it can look a bit OTT, but I am in the process of decorating my DDs room - shared by a 9yr old and a 6yr old. Am also getting 3D type of butterflies to put above eldest child's bed, then a tree / blossom type sticker with fairly neutral walls. This sort of thing :

Butterflies

Blossom Tree
