Where is best place to buy good rugs please?

I need some large colourful ones for the dcs playroom.

I've looked at Woven Ground and John Lewis. They seem quite good but I don't want to miss a better rug!

I have been looking for ages for the rug...

Made.com and loaf.com have some nice ones.
JL had nice ones, but not the colour we wanted.
Habitat are quite colourful.

Unfortunately all the rugs I really liked were £££££.

Are you after 100% wool?

What colours is the playroom?

I like the GLTC childrens rugs, but they're too small in the main (for a central rug) - the star rug is great.

Okay so the space we have is pretty big - around 42 sqm. It's a weirdly laid out house.

The big sofa is dark grey and the current curtains are light grey. The walls are wimbourne white which is really warm white, if that's at all possible!

It's the children's T.V. and playroom so I'm looking to introduce some jazzy colour and life via rugs and cushions.

This kind of thing is catching my eye. I'm hoping the stripes will hide the numerous stains and smudges that the dcs and dogs will create.

But, I think two or three large striped rugs will simply give us a headache. Perhaps one striped rug and two plain ones - their colour picked out from the striped one?

Aaaargh. I am shite at interiors.

I love this button rug from Ikea. And it's nice and cheap.

Have you heard of Scion?
They have some nice rugs... how old are the children?

What about this fox rug?

<a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=www.wallpaperdirect.com/wdimages/098634orig.jpg&imgrefurl=www.wallpaperdirect.com/products/scion/woodland-cedar-small-rug/98634&h=1671&w=1181&tbnid=Sn5jUzl8p1q2CM:&zoom=1&q=scion+rug&docid=353quQ1O8RvIcM&ei=V1uGU-yiI8fROeqfgcgK&tbm=isch&client=safari" rel="nofollow noindex" target="_blank"> This one has lovely colours in it, I like it a lot.

I also really like this one, which is not like anything else I like! The patterns are great.

Ikea ones are a v good price, but I suffer with polyprop rugs- the static is horrible, after your children have been scudding around on them for an hour...

There are some nice textured rugs, but if your children are lego fans, avoid, avoid, avoid! V painful stepping on hidden lego pieces secreted in the tufts.

Scion do cushions too, btw.

Yellows or teals go well with dark grey btw. Or limes, or hot pinks/magentas.

IKEA used to do this rug
www.amazon.co.uk/IKEA-VEMB-pile-multicolour-193x193/dp/B00GMM8KVG?tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21
which would have been ideal but cant see it on their website now.
They might have it in store? It is big, bright and made from wool mix.
