Gender neutral bedding?

Have a 7-year-old girl and 4-year-old boy about to share bunk beds. Can anyone suggest a place to get either matching duvets or duvet covers which compliment one another? Really stuck as usual places are either pink and frilly or blue and sporty/dinosaury. Thanks!

Do they have to be specifically children's bedding? Plain white with accessories that personalise each bed?

Green gingham check?

I saw a display at m&s on a white bunk that had boy duvet on top and girl below. It didnt look all that bad.

But I'd do a green check, or clouds etc. then I'd personalise with cushions (mil is a sewer and makes great cushions with initials for my dds).

Alternatively, could you find an alphabet theme?

IKEA! I have one of each and use IKEA bedding for them both interchangeably. Nice bright colours and fish or animals on.

second ikea. it's proper cotton, too, not nasty polycotton stuff that's sweaty and scratchy.

I got a plain white cotton duvet cover from Dunelm Mill. I just added a fleece blanket to it for ds, but am still considering tie-dying it Grin The only trouble is that for a good strong tie-dye, I think I'd need two boxes of dye, which is quite a lot of money.

My DD would have liked dinosaur bedlinen ... and def preferred blue to pink. Since when was blue an exclusively male colour? Confused

If you wanted cotton, how about some of these?

Argos they have various other bright or blue and red stripes that would do

DD1(16) still has her glow in the dark cute aliens, which I'm sure would be in the boys section.

Both my dd and my ds have been happy with various football themed covers, with animal (jungle) themed, with stars and planets, and with just patterns such as zig-zags, or stripes not that I'm sure why they have to have the same.
