IKEA Smila Sol light fitting - anyone got one?

What sort of light does it give off? I'm a bit put off by the thought of yellowish light, but we need something fairly flat to the ceiling for ds2's room and this would fit the bill.

Is it easy to install? I looked at the fitting instructions online and it looks a little baffling.

Would be interested if anyone's got the cloud shaped one as well.

I've just bought one and wondering if I need to get a wee man in to fit it for me. What did you do in the end?
