Help! Carpets is this cheap!?

We will be moving in a few weeks and I've just had a quote for stairs landing and vinyl in the bathroom all fitted for £389. Is that good? I've never do ecthis before x

Yes sounds very cheap. The fitting is often the most expensive part.

Good price I think.
Our fitting with carpet right was £50.
I felt guilty handing the money over to the fitters.

Price sounds like the material will be man made? Problem with this is it will go flat in 18 months. Although they will tell you it's easy to clean, wool last longer and looks better so long as you look after it. Best to speak to a local independent retailer they will quote for free and you will most likely end up with a better quality job?
