Wall decals/ stickers

I have a sad 3yo ds here. Spiderman wall decals fell off as soon as we stuck them on. He really wanted spiderman on his walls.

Have I done something wrong?or were they just bad quality? Walls were painted 10 weeks ago. Nothing fancy in the paint afaik.

Can anyone recommend where I can get some decent wall stickers? These were amazon.

Really Hmm as ds was excited when they went up the they all fell down Hmm.

How long did they stay on for?

Fell off straight away. As I was sticking them, others were peeling off the wall. Kept smoothing them down but it was no use.

Debenhams have some but I don't want to shell out for more stickers if they're going to fall off again.

What kind of paint did you use?

Anything that's wipe able? Or silk?

Yes wipe able paint, he's 3! Oh no, does that mean stickers are out? He'll be gutted!

I think you might have put them on back to front. They should stick to any smooth surface.

Were the walls newly painted. If so you need to leave it for a month or so to make sure that the paint is completly dry.

If they aren't sticking, trying putting them in place and blasting with a hot hair dryer for 30sec to see if you can revitalise the glue

We got some from ebay that have stuck really well but gor sme from wilkos years ago that just popped on and off. Is it smooth wall or painted wallpaper?

I've just put up some RoomMates ones in ds2's room that seem to be sticking well.

They're on a matt painted wall and also on the end of his white wooden cot. I made a mess of the ones on the cot and had to reposition them and was quite pleased about how well they stuck second time around.

It's painted plaster. Was aware you can't stick on fresh paint hence left it for at least 6 weeks, perhaps not long enough?

Graham & brown ones from debenhams should be better quality... Might risk buying more.
