Where to find a large mirror not too ££?

I'd like a large landscape mirror to go above my kitchen table but have had no luck finding one locally.
Would like one with some detail, perhaps carved/limed wood.
I have looked on ebay but there are too many to wade through, any ideas where else to look?
TIA

A couple of years ago we got two very large mirrors from Argos for about £40 each. We had spend ages looking at very expensive vintage ones or designer ones and you could have knocked me down with a feather when we found these! Maybe worth a look?

Go to a local framing shop and ask for a quote. They will make you a mirror the exact size and shape you want, and they usually have hundreds of frames to choose from.

We had an enormous one made years ago for over the fireplace and it is perfect, plus did not cost the earth. Tip: big price difference between beveled edge and non beveled edge so get a quote for both.

Home Sense and TK Maxx always have loads of mirrors in, some are quite unusual. Well worth a look.

Will look at TK Maxx as nothing quite right in either Dunelm or Argos.
Will also ask my local framer as he is really good and not too pricey, didn't think of that.
Thanks!

YY to TKMaxx, loads of lovely home furnishings for a decent price as well.

I'd do ebay, narrow the search with location so you don't need to drive far and pick it up. Or a local auction. You could paint the frame if necessary.

The Range

it's like Dunelm crossed with Hobbycraft and has ALL the things!! They have stuff online too.

Last time i was in there they had a fabulous range of mirrors, some very giant ones too in the sale for about £20

I do have a Range branch near me so yes could try them. Did look online at them but nothing much but will pop in too.
My local TK Maxx tends to have small mirrors but will look there again.
I have looked on ebay for local mirrors but not seen much, and Gumtree too, but it is quite time consuming and it is quite nice to have a look before you buy.

I bought a plain pine one from The Range , massive about 4' x 3'.
I painted it then did a crackle effect on it. Looks more £££ than the £20 I paid for it!!

This looks terrific but might be more than you want to spend.

Luna that is smart but a bit modern for the space.
Like the idea of a large pine mirror I can paint though not sure I would ever manage to do paint effects! What colours did you use ggirl?

Is Costco open to the public?

The range has a very big pine mirror for 20. Their website is rubbish though so definitely worth going in.
