Wall beds - anyone got one?

Hi

Looking at options, we have a second reception room which DH currently uses as his office, it also has a second tv in and sofa. The sofa we have is great, really comfy so don't really want to switch it for a sofa bed which I've yet to find one that's good as both a sofa and a bed. Sofa beds seem to be really short.

I'm wondering if a wall bed like the ones in the link might be the way to go. I like the 'Harry' option.

My boys have these in their room. Expensive, but fabulous. You don't have to take PC etc. off the desk when converting it to a bed. Very sturdy.

Bumply. Do they actually get it out and put it away each night? How old are you're ds?

We were thinking about them in our girls rooms too

15 and 11 year olds.
The 15 year old has really tall PC that doesn't fit that well (has be turned sideways to not get bumped)and has taken against the bed for some reason (he sleeps on the sofa, don't ask), but he's just an ornery teen. Ds2 puts his bed up and down by himself every day, sometimes more than once a day if he fancies a lounge in bed. His PC fits fine and he can manage it alone as long as he hadn't stuck too much else on it. Duvet and two pillows fit in fine but you have to lay the pillows along the bed so it squishes enough for the catches to slot it when folding it up.

Will have to see if someone local has some to see in real life.

I like the idea of the floor being available to play on. And they seem better than a loft bed
