Turquoise /Aqua double bedding suitable for a teen boy

My son has finally decided on his bedding decoration colours :o

He has picked a large canvas picture and as the main colour is a deep turquoise blue, he wants to use that as the colour for his blind and bedding.......and maybe one wall - the one opposite the picture.

at the moment his room is pale grey with one really deep red wall - I think i am going to paint it white but if the red wall takes too many coats, I may put a colour on it.

Anyway, we need some bedding that looks manly enough for a 13 year old boy. He dislikes contrasting colours. He is borderline aspergers so wondered if that was maybe the reason why, so multi coloured stripes are out I think unless they tone together.

I don't think he has chosen the best colour for a young boy to be honest - I was trying to tempt him into picking another colour from the picture, but he wont have it.

This is the picture he has - the colours are a bit deeper irl.

Aqua bedding will be fine. If you use dark grey/black accessories the room will not look girlie at all.
