Hague Blue or Downpipe?

I'm trying to work out which to paint our bedroom in. Terraced Victorian house, north-facing bedroom but q light all the same, fireplace and build in original cupboards, floorboards are natural golden pine colour, furniture is golden oak colour, curtains are butterscotch yellow velvet (currently but might change when we can afford it).

I was all set to do the walls and cupboards - and possibly skirting - in downpipe. We're having a downpipe runner up the white staircase and downpipe kitchen floorboards. But now I think I love hague blue more!

Just wondered if any farrow and ball experts could give their advice?
And should we paint the skirting / window frames white (the cornicing and ceiling will be white) or should we go for everything the same colour?

Advice welcome x

ps rest of house is mostly strong white (so v soft grey), the bedroom next door is a cornflower blue and there's another room in cornforth white.

Have you put up tester patches on the wall? I had the same dilemma (though with LG equivalents). DH painted the whole room Hicks Blue and I hated it. Paid someone to then paint it in Dark Lead - which I LOVE. An annoying mistake, but until it was in the room I didn't know. I love Hague Blue, but found that it didn't go with the primarily grey and white we have in the rest of the house. In a shut away bedroom though it doesn't matter (I was looking at it for a room visible from the reception rooms).

I have Hague blue and absolutely love it!! It is dark though and not to everyone's tastes. I have painted the walls Hague blue and the woodwork crisp white and it looks amazing. I had a tester of down pipe but The Hague blue was much nicer imo.

Thanks for this! Rest of our house is also predominantly grey and white but with bits of colour, hoping hague blue will be ok. Donotdisturb - great. glad you love it! We have built in original cupboards in the room, do you think we should paint these a crisp white or do them all hague blue?

Sorry just saw this. I'd say crisp white. It really looks good against The Hague blue. Also it'll lighten the room a bit.
