We have just been refunded money for a cottage Berber carpet that frayed so need to decide tomorrow what to put down in playroom and study - any advice? Needs to cope with 2 and 4 year old plus dog! Thank you In advance

If I had a dedicated play room/study I would get Harvey Maria vinyl in lime green or grass effect!

I'd put anything but carpet down in there. That's my advice. Grin

Something very washable! Hard flooring would be best with cushions/ seats to sit on.

We have cork. It's wonderful, warm, soft, doesn't show up the dirt and easy to clean. Ours has been liberally painted with blue paint and regularly weed on but cleans up brilliantly. Environmentally friendly too.

Dear God, do not carpet your playroom.
