Hi, any help much appreciated! Am choosing paint for new kitchen with Kashmir white granite in modern extension to Edwardian house ... Thinking Farrow and Ball blackened or Little Greene French grey pale. I don't want it to look purply at all but also want it to contrast enough with wall colour (RAL 9010). Glass bifolds and windows framed in dark grey aluminium. Taken us nearly a year to do this.. Loads of probs along the way. Just want a glass of wine in the new kitchen now!
Thanks very much for advice...

Crown Potters Clay is a grey with a brownish warmth to it. Not sure if it comes up as a kitchen paint though.

We have F&B Blackened on the walls of four rooms in our house. The colour really depends on how much light the room gets. In the two bathrooms (which have little or no natural light) it looks VERY purply (although nice). In our south-facing living room, which gets a lot of light, it is very grey, no purply tinges at all. It is a fab colour - we have received so many compliments on it. I did find it difficult to match to curtains / upholstery though - although sounds like this won't be much of an issue for your (gorgeous-sounding) kitchen.

Dulux dusted moss is a slightly greeny grey (no hint of purple). It's lovely.

Thank you all very much, the kitchen is east facing so light changes radically during the day. This morning my sample of Blackened looked a beautiful light grey with tinge of blue but just don't wan't any nasty surprises! I had better paint larger sample and examine throughout the day at the weekend just to reassure but I agree the colour is lovely :) LG FG pale gorgeous too just a tiny bit less blue I think.

Blackened looked basically white on our walls which is why we went for Pavillion grey.

Conforth white by Farrow and Ball was our perfect grey. It looks so good in our living room and friends who are redecorating have asked if we would mind them using the same shade. I do advise buying a tester though because it doesnt look the same colour as it does on the colour chart. Its a very soft and neutral light grey.
