Please describe it to me Smile

Ours is an ancient table, a bed settee, lots of messy messy storage!

It is our 2013 project but I don't know where to start.

Actually I do have one thought to start with, the dining table needs to sit at least 8 and whether extended or not we don't want anyone to have to sit straddling a table leg Grin

Maybe I'm not the only one who doesn't have a nice dining room!

Our dining room has an oak table and chairs (M&S) and this bookcase which we use to display photos, and other bits and bobs. www.bing.com/images/search?q=john+lewis+portloe+bookcase&view=detail&id=3523FBE27663BD5D219692200532BACEF9FD561B&first=1. I'd like to get a small sideboard and a single armchair to finish it off next year.

Ours has a 8 seat dark mango table and chairs and matching side board. cream walls, with deep red velvet curtains. Very 1950's, but then so is all our house.

Ours is york white with spot light ceiling and just a dining room table that seats 8, dark oak flooring that carries out into the entrance hall.

Nothing else although it does have a deep set window so I have room to display flowers and a couple of pictures there.

These sound great, thank you.

I have started by clearing out the clutter and have lots of things on eBay.

We went to John Lewis and M&S and were very disappointed with what they had on display. There were very few and the quality was NOT good.

We returned to a local shop and saw many that we liked...

I liked this one and a very similar one with straight legs.
