Hi guys - I hope you don't mind me posting. I am married, in my mid 30's and desperate to be a dad. Sadly, I am close to being infertile. Whilst there is a billion to one shot of conceiving naturally - it is V.unlikely. My wife and I are about to start Icsi treatment in a few months.

I will soon be launching WannabeDad - a blog that looks at what it is like to be in my position as a man - it will be the incredibly honest ramblings of a normal bloke and what impact it has. Male infertility is not talked about - seen in many ways as taboo. This is wrong.

Please help me start the conversation by following me on twitter @WannabeDad and facebook using the same name.

I will of course keep you posted once the blog is up and running.
Thanks for your time - I hope you can help me create something that will help men in my position know that they are not alone. Having lazy, low quality sperm does not make me any less of a man! Sadly, I think the perception down the local pubs, in the newspapers and magazines is very different. I want to change that.

Regards
#WannabeDad
