penguinmum's creamy fish pie: smoky, seasonal fish in a creamy white sauce with grated, rather than mashed, tatties on top - a meal of the highest comfort-food order.

Hello to all. Just a quickie as I'm off to bed in a mo.

go Glad you're pleased about the job but Ruby is quite right to ask "... what are you going to 'let go' in order to safe guard your health?" smile <but a bit concerned, too>

Tea Well done on sorting out another present. I must start thinking about Christmas.

Okay. Must go and write a letter which ds needs for tomorrow. See you tomorrow!
Just checking in to say hellosmile
Back tomorrow.
Evening all

I am very tired and the washer has given up the ghost, so will have to ring the man tomorrow.

Have had a nice if not tiring weekend. Mum wanted to go to Ikea, but I wasnt up for driving, so may take her later in the week.

Mini's are a little stir crazy today as it has rained so put a downer on some plans but I have had the sewing machine out again and another present is off the list!!
Well done Grouchy*

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
