IMO, been fed up lately, back to good health now and was desparate to do something with my life.

Anyway, last night I came home from picking kids up from school (infants) and decided to give the Junior school a call to see if they had any lunch time supervisors jobs available, just wanted a bit of pocket money and adult conversation, I am so lonely and bored being at home.

Anyway the headteacher said currently they have no vacanies, but can I type as they need cover in the school office, I said yes and meet him today and the other office staff, it is only a temporary position as there is someone off on long term sickness, but I just can't believe my luck.

I start on Monday, its 15 hours a week and definately until October half-term and he said that you never know there maybe a future opportunity for me. Even if I don't get taken on permanently at least I have some experience.

I'm chuffed to bits

It was really funny actually, I do already know the Headteacher, so the interview was relaxed and jovial. We were all chatting away and cracking a few jokes and I said "you do realise I'm going to be so good, youre not going to want to ever let me go" he laughed and conversation carried on. Its not until afterwards I realised that was a line out of the Pretty Woman film.

I'm on a high now good money in time for Christmas.

Well done, just goes to show if you don't ask you don't get, and great to be working only term-time as well.
