and even then it probably won't, but I've got to tell someone and I'm too embarrassed to show off to my friends and colleagues.
"Legal Business", a monthly publication for law firms etc., did a survey of Europe's 50 most influential general counsel (business lawyers) and they included me. Me!! Me!! I was so excited when I saw it that I was hip-hopping down the pavement and came within a whisker of engaging innocent passers-by in a gentle half-nelson and waving my profile and photo (horrible crow's feet) beneath their horrified gaze.
The ghastly thing is that, beyond DH, I can't tell anybody in RL because that would be considered sooooo uncool, not to mention boastful. The only acceptable reaction if someone happens to notice the profile is a self-deprecating mummur about idiosyncratic list criteria and a bias towards certain industries or profiles.
But this is Mumsnet and I'm anonymous (to most people) and there is no requirement to be cool at all.
