CV help please

My son has recently finished his degree sadly which he failed (see my other post in education if interested)

He has decided to try and gain some work experience whilst waiting to resit his finals in a years time (other option was to re do final year)

Any suggestions as to how he can describe the position he is in on his cv without putting off a potential employer

He is looking for paid and unpaid work, and has a possible opportunity of an unpaid internship which may lead to some p/t paid work, which would be ideal as he needs time to keep up with his studies too

His confidence has been badly knocked, and he is not the best at selling himself either, so any help as to how his CV could have a more positive spin would be appreciated

I would encourage him to volunteer to get his confidence back. Also looks great on a CV and often once you are in the door somewhere, this leads to something else. Local Volunteer Centre can help or website
