Where to advertise part time finance jobs

Hi,

My first ever post on Mumsnet!

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there are any job sites which specialise in part time work for people returning after maternity leave. I'm looking for a part time financial controller/financial compliance person but am really struggling to find any decent candidates looking for part time work through the recruitment consultants I know from my own background.

I thought the role might suit someone looking to return to work after maternity leave but I'm not really sure where best to advertise. Googling hasn't yielded anything promising so I'm hoping Mumsnet might.

Thanks in advance.

Hi

If you are based in the South East I would be very interested. Incidentally, I find that there are very limited opportunities for a finance professional wishing to return part time so I think when you advertise somewhere like timewise jobs there will be a great deal of applicants.

I left finance because of the lack of decent part time options- there's definitely plenty of fodder for you OP!

I agree with barmaid, there are plenty of people out there looking for these opportunities, but finding them is hard. From the other side as a potential candidate, I am pretty much stuck in my job due to the lack of PT roles to progress to.

mrscumberbatch, I dont suppose you would share what you do? I am struggling with lack of PT jobs and finding another job at circa £50k to cover childcare costs is just not happening!

This is a good one too - one of our part time accountants came from there I think www.womenlikeus.org.uk/
