Previous skills and CV style

Applying for a full time post in an area that I can utilise my skills and knowledge base that I had in my career before children . IN the meantime I have done two jobs including my current (albeit part time) but I feel that these along with voluntarily work I have done and do will compliment previous skills.

OK so two questions

How recent do prospects employers expect your skills to be - I am talking management, leadership and supervisory skills .

Also please point me in the direction of a good CV style - take it that they are more tailored to job role, skills area nowadays than list of qualifications and jobs.

Google for skills-based cv, think it's what you want.
Not sure about how recent skills need to be, depressing recent posts on here from someone who basically fudged her dates to disguise the fact she'd taken off time to raise a family: resulted in lots of interviews after a drought of offers. :(

More recent probably better, I guess.
