Work

Potential new job- very nervous

I was offered a job working in finance on Friday after 4 years away from this sort of role (due to the market). If they can confirm the parking situation ( nearest car park costs £16 per day) then I will take the job but I am very nervous, and I don't want to screw up.

How do you get over your nerves after such a long time away from it?

Can you park further away and use public transport for the last bit?

good luck

Just keep telling yourself they think you are good enough to do the job, so you are.

Congrats on your new job, particularly in this current market.

Be kind to yourself. You will not screw up. Those who screw up are the ones who could not care less. Give yourself time to adjust. It is a new job as well as a change from your usual role, so lots to get used to.

Good luck!
