Hrrmph

DS is now 6 and a half mths old. I've had to start him on formula during the day as I can't do the expressing thing when I go back to work....just too much work ! He's taken to it quite well. We still bf at night (1am, 5am and 7am...not my choice of times !)

My main concern is how tired I may be. It's tiring working full time, but to have to go home and be a full time mum... I dunno where I'm going to get the energy from.

Blah.... suppose it has to be done... will see how it goes.

Anyway, just felt that I had to post this !

Tarra!

TBH you just do it. One thing I learnt was not to worry too much about housework etc. for the first few weeks you will feel it more but eventually you will find your own routine.

good luck, I have just gone back after a fifteen month break and with a four year old,ten month old,two horses, a dog,cat and DH it takes it toll sometimes but I love it.

Hope it goes ok for you.

Thankyou all ! I can't believe I wasn't too tired, but then I've only done a Thursday and Friday so far. I did however fall sound asleep at 10.15 last night instead of the normal 11.30.

Am I weird to say that I actually enjoyed going back to work ?!?!

Helsi - haven't really got a 'routine' yet - everything is done on the hoof - but I'm sure we'll get one !

Pedilia - I only have one cat and I know how much work just that can be !!

Joolstwo - haven't said the 'f' word yet - plenty time yet !

Mind you, it's only been two days - I still have time to get over the 'honeymoon' period of new work clothes and new bag and shoes.....have spent too long covered in baby puke and grubby house clothes... gosh isn't it silly !

I did miss my little guy, but I get to go home at lunchtimes and have 40mins at home so I get to see him then..my mum is coming to the house to look after him while I'm at work (we pay her for this).

The house is a bit of a tip mind you, but I guess that's what weekends are for !!

Ok - bring on the dishes and ironing and hoovering !!! Here I come !!!
