ie it's the top x% of children who are identified as G&T, it is not subjective based on abilities but only a certian 5 - 10% can be G&T .. what happens if the year is particularly able
and there's no consistency from school to school
they don't do that with exams any more do they? It used to be the top 5% gets A's (or whatever percentage) so it was competitive .. but now it's not so everyone gets As and A*s nowadays and it's devalued
I think G&T as directed by the govt is a marketing scam with little actual benefit personally but that's not the question
