We've been told dd is gifted and talented by the health visitor but I'm not sure if its too early to tell?

Anyway regardless, like any parent I'd like to encourage any interests she has and at the moment it's nature. She wants to know every single fact about everything to do with animals in particular. I've bought her some nature books which she loves but I thought it might be nice to watch some short documentaries together. Are there any programmes anyone can recommend or any sets of DVDs? She is 3. Thanks so much for any help.

lol....

Sorry, I don't think that a health visitor can indentify a gifted and talented child.

The health visitor I had eleven years ago told me that my son would under achieve because I had severe postnatal depression. (lovely woman...) Infact he has recently attended a gifted and talented science work shop.

I suggest you get a season ticket to the local zoo and buy some plastic animals for your daughter to play with. I am sure that running about Whipsnade on a lovely sunny day at the age of three is why my ds is now good a science. The demostrators/ zoo keepers/ volunteers are really good at answering children's questions.

At the age of three I think your daughter would like "Andy's Wild Adventures" or if that is too simple then "Deady 60" with Steve Backall.
