Does anyone know if you can take Echinacea in pregnancy?

Just wondering if anyone knew.. i know some things are allowed and some aren't.. I have to worst cold i have had in ages, and always take it whe i'm ill. But being prenant not sure if it was a good/bad idea.. Any ideas anyone?

I think my doc said no when I was pregnant. Its awful having a cold when pregnant, I would get some olbas oil and steam your head.

sorry .. you can inhale karvol, take paracetomal (if you want)

Thank everyone not quite what i was hoping to hear tho. I tried another net search too and discovered that there was inconclusive evidence to support its effects if pregnancy... But most people you ask don't actually know what it is. Ahh well, as you've all mentioned, it's more Karvol and paracetamol for me tonight. It'll go away soon enough... thanks again.
