My husbands balls appear to be shrinking

DH has always had, erm, generous testicles. I have noticed lately though that they do not make such a good handful as they used to. There are no lumps or hard areas but they just feel....small. Also his erections take a bit longer to appear and are not as strong as they used to be although he has no problems during sex itself. He is also often very tired and falls asleep easily. He is 52. Is this just a factor of age? He does drink a fair amount and I wondered if it was this. Not an easy topic of conversation to bring up though without offending his manliness. What do you reckon?

If he drinks a lot or is overweight this could cause problems. Diabetes and cardiovascular disease could cause erectile problems. Things do shrink a bit though.

Sorry, but it's most likely the booze. Can you get him to see his GP because of the tiredness and take things from there?

Hmm, thanks...yes he has talked about going for a well man type check so maybe that would be a good idea. I did read that alcohol affects testosterone levels.
