You will need to see your Dr for an ECG. Most likely nothing to worry about but shouldn't be diagnosed over the Internet.

Mine come with low iron count which is treated easily. However, you need to get yours checked out as there are lots of conditions that cause it.

I had them when I had an overactive Thyroid Gland. But usually in bed at night.

My DH has these. Stress and caffeine are triggers, and they aren't particularly harmful but they can make him feel quite unwell.

But he went through various tests to ensure it wasn't anything else, and it would be wise to do the same, I think.

I've had this.

Started a couple of years ago and was intermittent. It stopped after a few months, then came back again several months later for a few weeks. Nothing since.

The GP did a ECG and declared it to be sinus arrhythmia which is apparently harmless and appears to have no particular cause. They gave me some beta blockers which I could take if I wanted. They did settle it down but as I already had low blood pressure, taking anything above a minimum dose tended to make make me a bit light headed.

It's because of your heart and lungs lying together, if you take a deep breath and hold it your heart will become regular.

Really Sashh? I've not been told that by the GP, although had read somewhere that there was some connection with the lungs. Should it return, I'll definitely give that a go. Thanks.

I get this & my heart races pretty much all the time. I've just had loads of tests & it seems to be nothing, maybe linked to my fibromyalgia.

Get to your GP to be checked, just to make sure.
