Blood in stools

Sorry if this is tmi, but when wiping earlier there was quite a lot of blood. And now there is a bit in my knickers, definitely not period.

I'm scared to go to doctors, and would that be overreacting?

I know it could be a tear, or from straining Blush

But another thing that happened was I took too many paracetamol at the weekend (please don't judge) and I don't know if this is the cause.

Any advise or experiences would be great thanks.

Sorry, I should have said I was checked out at a&e and was allowed home. Didn't really have any pains, just fast heart rate and confusion. It probably isn't related. Yesterday I took a couple of paracetamol as had an awful headache, not sure if I should have done or not.

Misunderstood that I think, had/having a breakdown plus other stuff going on, but that's another thread.

are you constipated?
can often be sorted by drinking more fluids, as well as healthy diet impt

You should probably get it checked out by a GP, but I have had this before and it was caused by a fissure. Is it painful?

No pain really.

It is probably something inoccuous (spelling!) but please see your GP, are you getting support for your other issues?

Is it bright red or brown? If the former then it's probably just piles or a tear. If it's brown then could be something internal so get it checked out

Age? History of colon cancer? Previously colonic history?

Guiltyguilty hit the nail on the head. As you described it as on the tissue and not the bowl I'd presume haemorrhoids or fissure.

Probably better to make an appointment at GP just to make sure. They'll PR you.

Anusol cream + laxatives = profit???

Take your bum to see your GP. Paracetamol can be harsh on your stomach - so, you should get it looked at incase you have an irritation of that.

Apart from anything else, if you are struggling with your mood, you don't need to add fretting about bowel cancer to your list of things to fret about.

Don't worry, get yourself seen, post back to let us know you are ok.
hang on in there
