Had bad migraine yesterday. Makes me look like I'm having a stroke. Slurring, confused, face goes saggy and numb on one side and lose ability to walk due to one sided numbness.

Work (nhs) sent me to a&e, I knew what it was but couldn't say so think will have to start wearing one of these bracelets.

Needs to be silver coloured or maybe black leather but not jazzy and colourful. Does such thing exist? Or maybe just the disk I can wear with bracelet I already own?

This website has a few different options for Jewellery styles including just the charms, I still only carry an alert card for mine as it has all the first response info on it.

Yes, there are loads of different sites which offer very pretty medical alert jewellery. The problem is that if it looks like normal jewellery/bracelet, emergency services will also likely not recognise it as a medical alert. So if you are too 'out of it' to show them, it will likely do you no good. If you are still able to do so, it's cheaper to just carry a card in your handbag. Oh and just have a meeting with work and discuss what help you do or don't want when having a migraine, i.e. explain that you do not need to go to A&E and that they should call XYZ emergency contact to come pick you up/call you a cab.

I had an SOS alert bracelet that is watertight and when you open it it holds a piece of paper with all your info in it

Could you get a small card printed up (with whatever you need to say) and laminated to show medics (assuming you are able). Perhaps with a more basic message on the back for non medics who are trying to help.

Do you have them often? I am not diagnosing you neither do I want to scare you but I have had a TIA (mini stroke) and it was just like that.
