For the past couple of weeks I have had really itchy boobs and I'm leaking what looks like colostrum. Has anybody else had this? Or any ideas what it could be?

My Gp is pretty much hopeless, I thought if I got some ideas of what it could be it might point him in the right direction

You need to go back OP. It could be too much prolactin which in turn can be caused by other conditions. Are you pregnant or on the pill or certain drugs to lower blood pressure? If none of the aforementioned, then you need to have it checked out.

Could itchy breasts be a sign of pregnancy?

are you trying to conceive?

Well I wouldn't say I was trying but we don't use contraception

How long have you not used anything for? Do you have regular periods? Breastfeeding?

If you haven't used contraception for a long time but haven't fallen pregnant then it could be Prolactinemia, which could indicate a problem with hormones.

Allergy if you have changed washing powder?

You really need to go back to GP, there are other causes and your GP, sounds rather witless and useless, can you ask to see a different one.

www.everydayhealth.com/breast-cancer-pictures/breast-cancer-symptoms-when-should-you-worry.aspx#/slide-6 Have a look here, lots of info about rash and discharge. Might be really nothing serious but GP needs to refer you if he can not diagnose what it is.

Hopefully someone with more experience & perhaps knows more will come along to offer some advice Smile
