A friend has had heavy intermittent bleeding between periods, passing clots, as well as having a visible lump on her cervix. She has severe back pain and leg pain (on three strong painkillers and this just takes edge off it), as well as nausea and tiredness. These symptoms have been present on and off her 6 months and are now constant.
GP has referred her to gynae three weeks ago but she has another 2 weeks to wait. I think this is unacceptable but df just seems to be accepting it and she refuses to go to A&E.
I know it could be fibroids or something similiar but with symptoms like these I would be more worried.
