dh thinks NO, i think yes for my sanity
they both have that awful coughing
and dd has a terrible terrible runny noses and eyes - and on an antibiotic which is doing feck all for her IMO..

quick spin, break the day up and maybe a lolly for their hoarse throats

I think its a good idea, especially if you have a window open alittle for some fresh air.

yes i agree i think fresh air is good for anyone who is not feeling well. as long as they are well wrapped up, they will enjoy it.

Best thing for coughs/bad chests, a good bit of fresh air, sea or mountain air if poss.
As you say, good for your sanity as well, an ice lolly will cheer everyone up

Yep - they are not sicky sick, as in throwing up (Im thinking of the state of the car here!), fresh air will do you all a world of good.

I have done this in the past. Sometimes you just have to get out of the house. I did it when dd had chicken pox, dh was in Australia at the time!

I wrapped her up well and we'd go out in the car, drinks for them, a flask of coffee for me. kept me sane.

I made sure we all stayed in the car, so no-one else was at risk IYSWIM

Certainly. Would avoid other children/pregnant mums if infectious, but otherwise I think you need to get out - I would definitely go mad otherwise.
