Twiglett's dd has pneumonia

I was hassling Twiglett to come to the meet up and got a reply explaining she couldn't as her (very lovely) dd (18 months I think) has been admitted for pneumonia.

The Twiggy one say "she'll be fine but needs IV antibiotics". I think they spent most of the day in the hossie, and judging by her MN absence, I imagine she has returned there this evening.

MN healing vibes being sent your way, little Twiglettina. X

oh so sorry to hear that - wonder if there's any connection with Twig's illness?

Hope she makes a speedy recovery.

I think you're right, spider, T returned from a long holiday / break / absence or something having been pretty ill IIRC, not 100% sure it was pneumonia, but I think maybe.

OMG! I'm shocked by how many perfectly healthy, young people seem to be developing pneumonia.

Get Well Soon Little Twiggy!!

YorkieGirl's little baby is very ill too, hope she doesn't mind my saying, so she cannot go but has very generously given her train ticket to another Mumsnetter!

Lots of healing vibes I think!

Oh no! Poor MiniTwiglett and poor Twig

Hope she's all crunchy and marmitey again really soon, Twiglett.

Thanks for letting us know, Hub. I knew she wasn't well the other morning, but never dreamt it'd be pneumonia

Oh poor little mite. Porr big (Mar)mite.

Hub: if she's in the hospital which I am almost certain she is in, I'm v close, and I'm also in there quite a bit at the moment visiting someone else. Twig has my e mail - if there's anything I can do to help, let me know.
