Good on MIL.

What a crap situation !

Is it any clearer as to how / why it arose ? (the delay in getting painkillers I mean)...

As I wrote in the other thread, if you feel things have gone downhill, write a letter to the Top Tomato, the Big Cheese, and tell her / him.... it may have co-incided with a cutback, or a change in shift, or movement of key personnel etc... your polite letter / rant may well have a big impact !

Oi, and don't feel useless. He has nurses and doctors there, and it is their responsibility.

You take care of the ranch for the mo.

That is totally and utterly unacceptable, Oh God, I am raging here as I type, I have just realised my teeth are clenched in anger and he is not even my DH.

they had ran out. and they shuldnt have done. he has been on oxy-norm and oxy-contin (think thats spealt right) since VAD was put in, so no way should they have ran out on the ward. am still seething.

Pretty strange, eh...

You'd think someone would see the stock pile of 'drugs in the cupboard' going down, eh...
